The practice continues to enjoy a wide range of commissions from country estates and rural retreats to urban gardens and public landscapes and has expanded in 2016 to create inspirational and individual private gardens in Europe.
The creation of coastal gardens, in the UK, remains in the forefront of our work, where we have successfully integrated vernacular hard materials with planting that is both salt and wind tolerant often on steeply sloping sites. We have also noticed that the majority of our clients are becoming more interested in naturalistic informal planting balanced with a strong structure using geometrically clipped evergreen which, of course, suits us down to the ground.
Some of our gardens are featured in Great Garden Design – author Ian Hodgson and published by Frances Lincoln Ltd.
